Kevin A. Corbett is a real estate transactional attorney with over three decades of experience handling complex real estate matters. Corbett has an extensive commercial real estate background across a wide array of property types and locations throughout the United States. He has handled complex transactions for some of the country’s most prominent investors and developers, while carving out a particular niche serving institutional and tax-exempt clients.
Corbett joined Safarian Choi Bolstad in 2013, after spending the past year as a partner in the real estate group of the Los Angeles office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. He has also been a partner at both Locke Lord LLP and Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP, as well as counsel at Mayer Brown LLP. Prior to dedicating his career to client services, Corbett spent 12 years serving as in-house counsel at CBRE Global Investors, formally known as CB Richard Ellis Investors, one of the world’s largest real estate investment services firms. His tenure at CBRE makes him uniquely qualified to understand the needs of so many of Safarian Choi Bolstad’s clients who are also managing the challenges of practicing law in-house.
Corbett received his J.D. from Boston University and his M.B.A. from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Cornell University.
